Nate and I spent this past Easter in Charleston, South Carolina. A city my family has now made a habit of going to, not once, but twice a year because we love it that much. And since we just got our plane tickets today to go back in June, it seemed like a perfect time to post these photos from last months trip.
Middleton Place seems almost unreal. I actually did a blog post on it last summer when my family did an evening wine stroll through the estate gardens…but because the property is SO big and gardens numerous, all the pictures from today ended up being different parts of the grounds. Spring flowers were in perfect bloom and there were little lambs running around everywhere…it sounds like I’m making this up but you’ll see actual documentation of the perfection below in the photos. So the day before Easter, the estate put on an easter egg hunt, and we took my littlest brother and cousins, while the adults got to enjoy the scenery. This is by far, one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It seemed as if every garden was at it’s peak, and I can’t wait to spend another afternoon there in June. There’s also a restaurant on site that had delicious southern food, a must stop if you are at Middleton Place!
