While we were in Florence for a few days, we decided to take a day trip out to Chianti, the center of Tuscany wine region. The Chianti region is really close to Florence and depending on which wineries you visit, you could see quite a few in just one day!

The beautiful island of Capri was the second place we explored while in the Amalfi Coast area! I was more excited about Capri than maybe anywhere else while planning our trip to Italy. Thankfully, this little island lived up to all my expectations, even with the rainy day we had there, which is just a testament to how special this place is.
